Wind power

The planning stage is the starting point in the development of a wind power plant.

REVAMPING & REPOWERING
The useful technical life of a wind turbine can generally be estimated at about 20 years, after which it becomes necessary to resort to complex and costly extraordinary maintenance.
Many first-generation turbines have now reached or exceeded this operating limit. These are machines characterized by obsolete technologies and low efficiency levels, although they are often installed on sites with high productivity. This scenario results in a clear under-utilization of the areas with the greatest potential, which are now registering productions well below those actually achievable.

The revamping and repowering of existing wind farms-that is, the replacement of old, low unit power turbines with state-of-the-art multi-megawatt wind turbines-is the most effective solution to reduce the number of installed machines and, at the same time, make the most of valuable anemometer resources.

Photovoltaic

PHOTOVOLTAIC/AGROVOLTAIC PARK :

Planning represents the initial stage in the development of a photovoltaic system, during which the technical and economic conditions necessary for its implementation on the territory are verified.

BESS

ELECTROCHEMICAL STORAGE - BESS

Electrochemical storage is a technology for storing electrical energy in the form of chemical energy, via rechargeable batteries. When needed, the energy is converted back into electricity for use or fed back into the grid.

Development of Electrochemical Storage Plant (BESS)

  • Preliminary Analysis: Needs assessment and study of integrated renewable sources
  • Engineering design with dimensioning: calculation of capacity (kWh) and power (kW)
  • Plant layout: wiring diagram, wiring, protections, fire regulations
  • Permits and Regulations: Application for grid connection, documentation for environmental and safety permit, compliance with IEC regulations.
  • Installation and Testing: Construction of civil works (basement, fencing, cabin). Installation of battery modules and control systems. Functional testing and technical acceptance.

BIOGAS AND METHANE

Biogas production occurs through anaerobic fermentation of organic matter in an airtight fermenter. It is environmentally friendly: the CO₂ emitted is equal to that absorbed by plants, closing the natural cycle.
Biomethane is derived from the purification of biogas; it contains at least 95% methane. It can be fed into the gas grid or transported as compressed/liquefied gas.It is critical to the energy transition to sustainable sources.
Development of a Biogas Project
- Includes spatial and business analysis, preliminary studies and plant sizing.
- Executive design of civil and network works (cabins, cable ducts, power lines, etc.).
- Preparation of documentation for unique permits, V.I.A. and for involved agencies (e.g., ARPA).
